Bulk Loading into MDS using SSIS.

A helpful post about loading data into MDS. This is the method I use for high-volume data sources, such as updates coming in from our other production systems or from external websites, that may change daily. I also use it when the incoming data has to be merged into existing records.

For lower-volume sources that do not need to merge with existing records, I usually bring the data in manually using Excel’s Master Data add-in.
